At ASSW2015 (Arctic Science Summit Week 2015) and ISAR-4 (The Fourth International Symposium on the Arctic Research), Geospace session (A4) and its side meeting were held as an international forum to discuss recent progress in this area and to advance the operation and development of essential research infrastructure. Fifteen oral talks were presented to an audience of about 40 scientists. Fourteen posters were presented in the associated poster session. An open side meeting was also held with 26 attendees, with short reports from each institution and short introductions to the poster papers. Most of the attendees continued fruitful discussions on recent progress and further collaborations in the following dinner party at a local restaurant. This was the first STP (Solar-Terrestrial Physics) session in ASSW/ISAR, and it is essential to continue such a session for further understanding of relationship between the Geospace and Arctic region.
